Post 5 (Three)

In response to my reviews of Sam Adams Octoberfest and Outback Steakhouse, many readers have reached out to me with their frustration and criticism:

"well thats nice and all but i dont really give two sh#ts how nice a steak and chowder combo tastes cause there is now way most of us could ever afford to drop that much money on a fancy austrelian dinner, im sure there are much more affordable restaurants out there that you could be reviewing that would not require a second mortage on my home"

As evidenced in the above email, most of these complaints stem from a misconception that The Dirtsmith is out of touch with the majority of Americans.  Rest assured, my faithful readership, that nothing could be further from the truth and that your feedback is well received.  Any perceived elitism or indifference to the struggles of everyday folks is both unintentional and much regretted.  In the future, I intend to strike a balance between reviews of high-end as well as "wallet-friendly" products and services, giving due diligence to value and practicality.  While I may enjoy the finer things in life, The Dirtsmith puts on his pants just like everyone else in this world, one leg at a time.

In that spirit, I visited a friendly neighborhood hamburger stand that offers affordable food at sensible prices.  More on this "Wendy's" later......
